What this website collects
The consultation request collects the information you enter: the type of matter, the jurisdiction, names for a preliminary conflicts check, your contact details, any upcoming date, and an optional brief description. The server also records the page the request came from, any campaign parameters in the address, and your IP address.
Why it is collected
To run a conflicts check, to respond to your request, and to keep a record of enquiries the firm has received. Information submitted for a conflicts check is used for that purpose and for the firm's own records of declined matters.
How it is handled
Consultation requests are stored on the firm's website server and are accessible to authorised personnel of the firm. Notification emails sent to the firm carry the reference, matter type and jurisdiction only — the description you provide is not included in that email.
Sharing
The firm does not sell personal information. Information is not shared with third parties except where necessary to provide legal services, where the firm is required to do so by law, or with service providers who host the website under obligations of confidentiality.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed for the firm's professional and record-keeping obligations, including its obligation to maintain conflicts records. Retention periods to be set by the firm.
Cookies
This website sets a session cookie so that the multi-step consultation request works. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics as currently built.
Your choices
To ask what the firm holds about you, or to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, contact the firm. Some records must be retained to meet professional obligations. Contact route to be confirmed by the firm.
