Esthetician Program

600 hours Hybrid format available

This specialty course covers all aspects of skin care and makeup. Successful completion of this course, the State Program Examination, and Licensure will allow the graduate Esthetician to perform facials (manual & electrical), eyebrow arching and hair removal (other than by electrolysis), work as a makeup artist, and represent skin care products.

Mission & Objectives

The mission of the Esthetician course is to prepare students for the state licensing examination and for profitable employment as an Esthetician, skin care specialist, product demonstrator, or makeup artist.

What You'll Learn

Health & Safety

Infection control, chemical safety, regulations, hazardous materials, and ergonomics.

Disinfection & Sanitation

Hand washing, disinfectants, and personal protective equipment.

Anatomy & Physiology

Human anatomy, bacteriology, and skin analysis.

Skin Care

Makeup application, manual, electrical and chemical facials, and client consultation.

Hair Removal & Brow/Lash

Shaping, waxing, tweezing, depilatories, and lash & eyebrow beautification.

Esthetician Program — Hybrid Program

Our Esthetician Hybrid Program covers the same 600-hour curriculum in a blended format that combines online theory instruction with hands-on practical training completed on campus.

Graduation Requirements

When a student has completed the required theory hours and practical operations in Esthetician with a GPA of “C” (70%) or better, he or she is awarded a diploma certifying graduation.
