Barbering Program
This comprehensive course is designed to master the art and science of barbering. Upon successful completion of the program and state licensure, graduates will be qualified to provide a full range of grooming services, including fades and tapers, straight-razor shaves, facial hair design, hair coloring, and advanced hair and scalp conditioning.
Mission & Objectives
This program covers all aspects of barbering, including hair styling, chemical hair services, and beard shaving and trimming techniques. The course prepares students for the state licensing examination and for profitable employment as a Barber.

Hairstyling Services
Styling, pin curls, blow drying, thermal techniques, and haircutting.
Shaving & Beard Trimming
Safety, client preparation, and standard shaving procedures.
Graduation Requirements
Students shall have completed the Theory and Operations required by the Bureau of Barbering & Cosmetology with a grade average of “C” (70%) or better. A final skills exam is administered.
