Teaching Mandarin and Chinese culture in the San Fernando Valley since 1971.
SFVCCA Chinese School teaches Mandarin using traditional characters with Bopomofo (注音符號) phonetics — the system used in Taiwan. Our curriculum runs from Pre-K through AP Chinese Language and Culture, and we welcome heritage speakers, complete beginners, and adult learners alike.
Classes meet on Saturday mornings at our Mission Hills campus. Every student also takes part in cultural enrichment — calligraphy, folk dance, paper cutting, and our festival celebrations throughout the year.
Open enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is underway. Early registration receives priority placement.
