Reaching an Agreement
Once the bail agent and the indemnitor reach an agreement and all fees are paid, the bail agent posts a bail bond for the full bail amount with the jail or court. The defendant is then released and receives a time, date, and location to appear in court.
Your Responsibilities
The defendant is required to attend all court dates. Failing to appear can result in forfeiture status. If the defendant cannot be located, the indemnitor is responsible for the situation. Following all bail conditions keeps everyone protected.
