What We Stand For

Mission, Vision & Values

🎯

Our Mission

  • Provide scholarships and academic resources to underserved Hispanic students
  • Build a community of mentors, donors, and advocates
  • Remove financial barriers that prevent students from reaching their potential

Our Vision

A Los Angeles where every Hispanic student — regardless of zip code or family income — has a clear, supported path to a college degree and a fulfilling career.

We envision the next generation of doctors, engineers, artists, and leaders emerging from the neighborhoods that raised them — and giving back to build the next generation in turn.

❤️

Our Values

  • Dignity: Every student deserves to be seen and celebrated
  • Community: We rise together or not at all
  • Accountability: Donors and families deserve transparent impact

Words From Our Community

Alonzo didn't just give me a scholarship — they gave me people who believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I'm the first in my family to graduate from a four-year university, and I can trace it directly back to this organization.

2022 Scholarship Recipient · UCLA Class of 2026

The backpack drive was the first time I felt like the community had my back. Now I volunteer every year to give that same feeling to someone else.

Andrés Flores
Volunteer & Former Recipient

As a donor, I've seen exactly where every dollar goes. Alonzo's transparency and impact reports are unmatched. My family has donated for four years running.

Annual Donor since 2021
