Los Primos Del Este

A six-piece Mexican-American band founded in North Carolina, pioneering what they call 'norteño sax' — a modern take on norteño infused with saxophone, woven together with sierreño, country and corridos tumbados influences.

The group was founded by Geovanni Flores (lead vocals, guitar, harmonica, songwriting), David Munoz (vocals, songwriting), Erik Altamirano (requinto) and Ariel López (bass), later expanding to a six-piece. They released a string of digital singles before breaking through with 2019's 'El DB' and 'Quiero Ser', followed by their debut album 'PDE' in 2020.

They continued to refine their sound with the romantic full-length 'Amor de Lejos' (2023) and 'Poesías' (2024). Their distinctive blend of Mexican heritage and modern songwriting has earned them millions of fans and a deal with Interscope Records.
